Challenge Provides extensive production capabilities to customers.  Our primary equipment includes:

The Rockford

The Rockford is designed to machine custom plates as large as 7 feet (84 inches) wide and 24 feet (288 inches) long.  The tightest Rockford tolerance is .001" of an inch for machined plate face.  The flatness can be held within .002" of an inch.

The Grey

The Grey is designed to machine custom plates as large as 10 feet (120 inches) wide and 30 feet (360 inches) long.  It also has the capacity to work a plate face of 72 inches or a 6 foot angle.  The tightest Gray tolerance is .001" of an inch for machined plate face.  The flatness tolerance can be held within .002" of an inch.

CNC Machining and Turning Centers

Challenge Precision now has eight-(8) CNC's with varying sizes and capacities.  For drilling, the CNC's will index from one-(1) degree to 360 degrees. These machines enable Challenge professionals to drill any hole pattern that is required.  The CNC can hold a tolerance of .001" from hole center to center.

Surface Grinder

This machine provides Challenge with the capabilities of grinding plates as large as two-(2) feet by six-(6) feet  while maintaining a tolerance of .001" of an inch for flatness and parallelism.
