Straight Edges

Straight edges are widely used for checking the accuracy of flat surfaces such as surface plates, machine tables or ways. Furnished with leveling pads and wooden cover. Hand scraped accurate to .0002" overall.

Parallel Straight Edges

Parallel straight edges are used for setting up and leveling machine tools, checking the flatness of surfaces or for positioning work above and parallel to a surface plate when checking or scribing parts. They are strongly ribbed for strength with cored holes for lightness and handling ease. Wooden cover furnished.

Precsion Ground: Top and bottom surfaces are precision ground flat and parallel to within .0005" overall for the 36" & 48" and within .00075" for the 60" & 72"

Hand Scraped: Top and bottom surfaces are hand scraped flat and parallel to within .0002" overall.
